The Firm
15 Years of Strategic Defense
With over 15 years of experience in high-stakes litigation and corporate governance, Pritesh Soni serves as a strategic partner to businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals. He moves beyond the traditional role of a litigator to act as Outside General Counsel for small to mid-sized enterprises, including serving a Texas community hospital and acting as counsel for players in the oil and gas sector.
Unlike traditional firms where cases are handed off to junior associates, Pritesh personally manages every aspect of representation, from strategy and discovery to dispositive motions and trial. His background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, giving him a distinct technical advantage in intellectual property disputes and complex commercial transactions.
Notable Representation
Pritesh has secured multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements in state and federal courts. His track record includes obtaining a seven-figure judgment for a petroleum company involving the fraudulent sale of Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) and defending clients against aggressive litigation, resulting in multiple "take-nothing" defense verdicts.
In his capacity as Outside General Counsel, he advises on corporate structure, employment frameworks, and compliance, allowing business owners to prevent litigation before it starts. Additionally, he serves as Of Counsel at the Bohreer Law Firm, collaborating on large-scale commercial litigation and employment defense matters.
Community & Background
Pritesh is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and all state courts in Texas.
Prior to founding Soni Law Firm, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. K. Michael Mayes in the 410th District Court. Outside the courtroom, he is committed to community advocacy, serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused children and maintaining active membership in the Houston Skyline Rotary Club.
